Lexi Lately is a woman who used social media to create good for others.

She went to TikTok and asked followers to donate small sums of money ($0.25). 

The amount of money grew exponentially, and she used it to "super" tip waiters and waitresses in her area.

It turned out that some were in dire need of a financial boost.

Vancouver City Fire Chief

In its 135 year history, the City of Vancouver has, for the first time, hired a woman as Fire Chief.

Previous to working for the City of Vancouver, she worked for the City of Nanaimo,

on Vancouver Island, as its Fire Chief.

Her name is Karen Fry, 

and she is the mother of FIVE children.

Karen Fry is an impressive woman and a role model for all of us.
